She made the wrong friends which resulted with very bad things happening to her... the school didn't care and basically told me they had 4000 students to deal with and couldn't really help me with my one. I'm not sure if you're in California but in my part of California charter schools are the way to go right now... super small schools. The one she'll be attending has 311 students and offer 6th-12th grade. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your girls get into the school you all are hoping for.

MRS.SHEILA: Thank you. I appreciate you coming by and checking in on me.

PATTY: Thank you Patty, you can't imagine everything we've been through this year, but it only brought us closer and she's going to be okay. I'm with her all the way. Thank you for your kind words.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06679080153484616582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20803640.post-25025200414140031812009-05-29T18:26:10.623-07:002009-05-29T18:26:10.623-07:00Oh Rosie, I'm sorry to hear things have been so ha...Oh Rosie, I'm sorry to hear things have been so hard for your daughter. It sounds like you're helping her (and yourself)in a very positive and supportive way. Good for you!

Big hugs, PattyPattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00386406875529916012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20803640.post-80400804127958350682009-05-29T09:43:10.442-07:002009-05-29T09:43:10.442-07:00Just stopping in to wish you well!Just stopping in to wish you well! One Pretty Little Boxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05156117047807454970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20803640.post-46685338790917148372009-05-29T08:40:23.130-07:002009-05-29T08:40:23.130-07:00Your post struck home with me today. My daughters...Your post struck home with me today. My daughters (twins) were also freshman this year, and the situation in their current school is less than desirable. This week I've been working on getting the paperwork together for them to go to a new digital arts school, and as of yesterday, we're pretty sure they'll get in. Teenage years are hard enough without having the place they spend the majority of their waking hours be the "wrong fit" for some reason or another.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
